I am Angus Dylan C. Simbulan, currently a third-year student in University of the Philippines Los Banos. My organization affiliations are the Young Software Engineer Society, and the UP Data Science Society, both of which help me in my journey to becoming a polished, competent professional. I aspire to be both a developer and a data scientist as both I enjoy doing. As I continue striving to get my degree, I am also looking for opportunities outside the academe where I can showcase and improve the current skills that I have.
Conducted an exploratory data analysis to examine how personality traits (based on the OCEAN model) influence students' social media usage. Cleaned and visualized survey data, identified trends, and drew connections between behavioral patterns and personality dimensions.
Built a desktop application to help student organizations manage members, events, and records efficiently. Implemented a relational database with MariaDB and designed a user-friendly interface using Tkinter for smooth interaction and record-keeping.
Developed a simplified strategy game inspired by Super Auto Pets using object-oriented programming principles. Designed core gameplay mechanics, such as team building and battle simulation, with an interactive GUI built in JavaFX.
